Ai Group made a further submission on 1 September 2017 on the “preliminary view” of the Full Bench in the Family and Domestic Violence Leave Case that all award-covered employees should have access to unpaid domestic violence leave and should be able to access their personal/carer’s leave for domestic violence purposes. The Commission has rejected the ACTU’s claim for 10 days per year of paid domestic violence leave.
Ai Group is playing a leading role in the case in representing employers.
Further conferences and hearings in the case have been scheduled for 11, 13, 19 and 20 October 2017.
Ai Group’s main submission in the case is available on Ai Group’s website.
